Christiaens Group is involved with the aerobic treatment of organic materials for more then 30 years now. A wide range of products has already been treated successfully in many facilities worldwide. Many of these facilities produce a high quality, valuable compost which is used as substrate in the mushroom industry. Others are used to treat organic waste such as green waste, kitchen waste, S.S.O., biosolids, digestate etc.

The facilities which deal with organic waste can differ a lot worldwide depending on local legislation, market for the end product and the quality of input materials. All these individual items can be incorporated into the design. The technology which is developed by Christiaens Group, the so called In Vessel Composting Technology, is modular and therefore flexible towards each design.
